Flame Stop® V Caulk™
Designed for larger areas, Flame Stop® V Caulk can be trowelled with any application tool or can be dispensed with a mechanical or pneumatic application system. It contains no water, or other evaporative elastomers; therefore, it does not shrink, crack, or slump, and maintains superior adhesion qualities.

Installation
Remove loose dirt and other foreign matter from penetration surfaces.
Install damming material (any damming material may be used in the installation).
Place required amount of Flame Stop® V Putty or Flame Stop® V Caulk into penetration (depth requirements may be as little as 1/2", depending on the penetration).
Flame Stop® V should be painted after installation if it will be exposed to rain or excess water.
Maintenance
A Flame Stop® V sealed penetration is maintenance-free, as long as the seal is not compromised. If additional penetrating items will be added after the firestop is in place, simply cut away enough of the putty to allow entry and reseal with a new Flame Stop® V application.
